Field Trip to Como Conservatory April 22, 2015 Today our class went on a field trip to the Como Zoo Conservatory. We took a class called "Plants that Care." We learned that plants take care of us by providing oxygen, food, shelter and even clothing. Did you know that a dollar bill has cotton in it? It's true! That's why a bill doesn't get ruined when it goes through the wash.
We also got to make scented bath soap, we went on a scavenger hunt and we saw cool animals that live in the Conservatory (an anaconda snake, a HUGE tarantula and a sloth to name a few). We also enjoyed watching the koi fish - there were hundreds of them! It was an interesting and enjoyable morning at Como.
